Had a fascinating discussion with Tim Colwell from AOTMP. For those of you who are newcomers to the various research firms and analysts covering Telecoms in all it's flavors, AOTMP is a little different in that it's dedicated to the telecoms needs of its clients. Most of the other firms have broader practices, where Telecom is one of many covered areas. Positive and negative attributes to that, I personally consider it's more about the individual analyst than the breadth of their firm. Tim has clearly got a solid grasp of the needs of his clients, so it was a productive hour holding up our strategy for his thoughts. I can't say we agree one hundred percent on the nuances, but we're clearly of like minds. AOTMP produce some research reports that are worth a read, you can get them here.
