A pretty frantic finish to the process, but now that the dust begins to settle, I’ve time to give you a quick update.
You may have heard this from us directly, or from the various communications channels that picked it up, so it may not be news that last week we were acquired by Vodafone. It’s a great fit in virtually all dimensions. I’ll leave the various communications pieces to describe the way we expect this to be a real boon for the market, our customers and our employees, but suffice to say that the overwhelming majority of folks I’ve personally talked to are very supportive.
There are exceptions of course, but there’s a sincere commitment by Vodafone to manage those concerns in a sympathetic way. Meantime the market has a new player with the scale and strategy to make a huge difference. Should be exciting times!
